Fridge and refrigerator repair in Orléans

A fridge that stops cooling is the one appliance failure you can’t put off: a full fridge starts to spoil within hours, and the freezer is not far behind. Freezer works but fridge is warm

A classic split-temperature fault: the freezer holds but the fresh-food compartment drifts warm. It is almost always a frozen evaporator coil (from a failed defrost heater, defrost thermostat or control board) or a blocked air damper between the two compartments.

Water leaking onto the floor

Leaks usually come from a clogged or frozen defrost drain, a cracked water-line fitting on an ice and water dispenser model, or a damaged door gasket letting humid air in. We clear the drain and replace the failed part. More on fridge leaking water.

Ice maker or water dispenser not working

No ice or no water traces to a frozen fill tube, a failed water-inlet valve, a clogged filter or a faulty ice-maker module, all common on Samsung, LG and Whirlpool dispenser models. See ice maker not working.

Loud buzzing, clicking or running constantly

A clicking compressor (often a failing start relay), a noisy condenser or evaporator fan, or a unit that never cycles off points to a cooling or airflow fault. Catching it early can save the compressor, the most expensive part of the fridge. See fridge making noise.

Booking is simple. Send a request online any time or call us; a request is not yet an appointment, so we call or text to confirm a time window of about three hours and the refrigerator’s make and model.

On site, the technician runs a full diagnosis: compressor and start relay, evaporator and condenser fans, the defrost system, thermostat and control board, dampers, door gaskets and the water and ice circuit. They pinpoint the fault and give you a written quote before any work begins. The $89 + tax residential diagnostic is applied toward the repair you approve.

After the visit you receive a written diagnostic report, and every repair we complete carries a 3-month warranty on parts and labour; ask for the written terms. If a fridge or freezer fails overnight, visits between 9 PM and 7 AM add a $100 flat after-hours fee to regular rates.
