Samsung stove and range repair in Ottawa and Gatineau

Samsung ranges pack a lot of technology into one appliance: touch controls, induction coils and Flex Duo ovens. That makes an accurate diagnosis worth more than a guess, because swapping the wrong board can cost more than the original fault.

Burner won’t heat

SE / 5E touch errors

SE, which can appear as 5E on the display, is a key-short code. It usually means a failed touch membrane or moisture that has reached the control panel. If a power reset doesn’t clear it, we diagnose the panel and replace it when needed.

Induction won’t detect pans

If a Samsung induction zone won’t recognize cookware that is induction-compatible, the pan sensor or the coil has likely failed. We test and replace the affected zone’s parts; see induction stove repair.

Oven not reaching temperature

Under-baking points to a worn bake element or a drifting oven sensor, closely related to an oven not heating fault. We measure both on site.

Gas burner won’t ignite

A burner that clicks but won’t light usually has a dirty igniter or a cracked spark module. We clean or replace the ignition parts and check the flame afterwards.

Control board faults

A frozen display or a dead control panel often traces to the main PCB. We diagnose the board and replace it with a part that matches the model’s specification.

The $89 + tax residential diagnostic ($129 + tax for gas ranges) covers a complete diagnosis of the cooktop, oven and controls, and it is credited toward the repair if you go ahead. The repair itself is quoted in writing and approved by you before any work.

Most Samsung stove and range repairs, such as a surface element, an oven sensor or a control board, fall between about $180 and $440 with parts and labour. That range is a guide; your quote is the real number. Completed repairs carry a 3-month warranty on parts and labour, and you receive a written diagnostic report after the visit. To help the technician prepare, tell us the model number (on most Samsung ranges it is on a sticker you can see once the storage drawer is pulled out, or on the back panel), whether it is electric, induction or gas, and any code on the display.

A late-night or early-morning visit (9 PM to 7 AM) adds a $100 flat fee, and homes farther than 30 km from downtown Ottawa may see a travel charge.
