Why Weekend Appliance Repair Matters
Appliances don’t care what day it is. A fridge that quits on Friday night turns into a freezer-thaw food-safety problem by Sunday evening. A washer that floods on Saturday morning means a soaking-wet basement before Monday’s contractor opens. A dryer that quits before a long weekend leaves a family of four standing in front of a wet pile of laundry. We built our weekend rotation specifically because the standard “we’ll be out Tuesday” answer is the most expensive lie in appliance repair — by Tuesday you’ve thrown out $400 of fridge contents, paid for a hotel laundromat, or rented backup appliances.
Our weekend dispatch covers Saturday 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM. We do not dispatch technicians on Sunday. Same service-call rates: $89 + tax residential, $129 + tax for gas appliances. Same factory-authorized OEM parts on the truck. Same online booking and same 613-301-0016 phone line.

Weekend vs Emergency vs 24-Hour — Which Do You Need?
- Weekend service (this page): Saturday daytime call, normal Saturday dispatch window. $89 + tax service call ($129 + tax for gas appliances). Best for: most appliance problems where you can wait until daylight Saturday.
- Same-day: Mon–Sat daytime, dispatched within 2–4 hours of your call. Same pricing. See same-day appliance repair Ottawa.
- Emergency: Active leak, gas smell, electrical short, fridge full of food melting fast. See emergency appliance repair Ottawa.
- 24-hour: After-hours overnight dispatch, premium rate. See 24-hour appliance repair Ottawa.
Not sure which? Call 613-301-0016 and we’ll triage the symptom in 60 seconds.

Weekend Appliance Repair FAQs
Do you really come out on weekends in Ottawa?
Yes, on Saturday. We have dedicated Saturday daytime crews; the Saturday window is 8 AM – 8 PM. We do not dispatch on Sunday. Coverage extends across Ottawa, Gatineau, Kanata, Barrhaven, Nepean, Orleans and Gloucester.
Is there a weekend surcharge?
No. The service-call rates ($89 + tax residential, $129 + tax for gas appliances) and the flat-rate repair pricing are identical to weekdays. The repair price is quoted in writing on-site before any work begins.
Can you finish the repair the same Saturday?
For most common failures — door gaskets, drain pumps, igniters, evaporator fans, ice makers — yes, because we carry the OEM parts on the weekend truck. Less-common boards or sealed-system work may need a Monday return visit.
What if my appliance fails Friday night — should I wait until Saturday?
Call us either way at 613-301-0016 — we will triage the symptom and book the right slot. For active leaks, gas smell, or rapidly-thawing fridges full of food, see our emergency appliance repair page.
Do you cover Gatineau and Hull on weekends?
Yes — our weekend dispatch crosses the river. Gatineau, Hull and Aylmer are all in the standard Saturday dispatch radius.
What warranty do you give on weekend repairs?
Identical to weekdays: 90 days on our labour, plus the manufacturer warranty on the part. Written and emailed to you the same day.
