What is included in the $89 service call?

The $89 service call covers travel to your home and a full in-home diagnosis by a TSSA-certified technician. If you approve the repair, the $89 is applied toward the job â you only pay for parts and labour on top.

What appliances do you repair?

We repair refrigerators, freezers, washing machines, dryers, dishwashers, ovens, stoves, cooktops, built-in microwaves and range hoods. Both freestanding and built-in units are serviced.

We are factory-authorized and service every major brand sold in Canada, including Samsung, LG, Whirlpool, Maytag, GE, Frigidaire, KitchenAid, Bosch, Electrolux, Kenmore, Miele, Sub-Zero, Wolf and Viking.

How much does a typical appliance repair cost in Ottawa?

Most repairs fall between $180 and $550 including parts and labour. Common jobs â dishwasher drain pump, dryer thermal fuse, washer door lock, fridge start relay â land in the $200â$350 range. We give a firm quote before starting any work.

Is it worth repairing an older appliance or should I replace it?

As a rule of thumb, if the repair costs less than 50% of replacement and the appliance is under 10 years old, repair is the better call. Our technician will tell you honestly if it is not worth fixing.

Why is my refrigerator not cooling but the lights work?

The three most common causes are: a failed evaporator fan motor, a defrost system fault (heater, thermostat or bimetal), or a stuck start relay on the compressor. All three are fixable same-day in most cases.

Why won't my dishwasher drain?

Usually a clogged drain pump or drain hose, or a failed drain pump motor. Codes like E24, E01 or F7 on Bosch, LG, Samsung and Whirlpool machines almost always point to drainage. Same-day fix in ~80% of visits.

What does error code UE or LE mean on my washer?

UE is an unbalanced-load error â usually caused by a failed shock absorber, worn suspension rods, or a broken hall sensor on LG and Samsung front loaders. LE indicates a locked motor and usually means the stator or rotor needs replacement.

Why is my dryer squealing or squeaking?

A loud squeal almost always means a worn drum roller, idler pulley or drive belt. Left alone it can snap the belt and strand clothes mid-cycle. Typical repair is $220â$320 all-in.

Why is my dryer taking too long or not heating?

Electric dryers: a blown thermal fuse, failed heating element or tripped high-limit thermostat. Gas dryers: igniter, flame sensor or gas valve coils. We are TSSA-certified for gas dryers in Ontario.

Why won't my oven heat up or hold temperature?

Most commonly a failed bake or broil element, a bad oven sensor, or a faulty control board. Gas ovens add igniter and safety-valve failures. We carry the common parts for Samsung, LG, Whirlpool, GE and Frigidaire on the truck.

Yes. Every repair is backed by a written parts-and-labour warranty. Duration depends on the part, and is confirmed on your invoice.
